With our Aaron, our sweet-grandmother to spare now have a lighter load (see blog entry dated 7 April 2010). She got a new "replacement grandchild. This they will now also again very happy to Malawian way around with them much better as the other before.
are all here incredibly happy that the three sisters finally got their long-awaited (by whom??) brother. Girls of a family in Malawi are in fact in some ways be stuck in their adult life if they have no brother. For the fact is later for the children of his sisters to be more important than their own father. Education, career, marriage plans, and everything else important is discussed with the uncle and encouraged by this, or approved. Therefore, our Malawian friends, colleagues and neighbors even more than we really look forward to our son and heir. Strange, but true.
was the way the new "replacement-grandchild" even (almost daily) to the pastor appointed (because his father is one), and even "honorary mayor for Germany," he was appointed by our mayor (Group Village Headman). As well as everything is still so? Madness - if you bekommmt in Africa a son!
